Welcome to Stone Gryphon Tactical. Our company is driven to provide first responders with the tools they need to save lives. The CTAX, our tactical entry and rescue multi-tool, was designed by a U.S. Army veteran and currently serving police officer of 10 years. It provides first responders with an affordable, portable, and easy to use tool that allows them to reach the people that need their help as fast as possible.
Brian Carrington joined the US Army as an Infantryman in 1998. After completion of Airborne School he was assigned the 4th Ranger Training Battalion at Fort Benning Georgia.
He transitioned from active duty to the National Guard in 2002, joining the 111th Air Defense Brigade in Albuquerque New Mexico. After a stateside deployment in 2003, he volunteered to deploy to Iraq in 2005. Brian separated from the military in 2007 and became a police officer in southern California in 2009. He has been a police officer for the last 10 years serving the diverse communities of a major metropolitan city.
In that time, and on several occasions, he needed to breach a door but had to do it without the proper tools. It’s a gut-wrenching feeling to want to help someone but not being able to. So, he decided to do something about it.
He designed a tactical entry and rescue multi-tool that is light weight, portable, and easy to use. Starting the company, Stone Gryphon Tactical, to help first responders save lives.
